Deal a card, face up, into pile one, then put one card face down in pile two through seven. Repeat, starting with pile two, and so on through seven, leaving the following arrangement:
Pile 1 Pile2 Pile 3 Pile 4 Pile 5 Pile 6 Pile 7
1st pass up down down down down down down
2nd pass up down down down down down
3rd pass up down down down down
4th pass up down down down
5th pass up down down
6th pass up down
7th pass up
The next three cards are placed face up in pile 13 and the remainder of the deck is placed face down in pile 12.
The Play:
Standard Solitaire. Cards may be played out of piles 1 through 7 and pile 13.
Playing to the Play Piles (Piles one through seven):
1) Any face up card or stack may be moved to any empty play pile.
2) Cards may only be played on a card of the next highest value and of the opposite color (e.g. play a 10 of Hearts on a Jack of Clubs or Spades.)
3) When moving cards between play piles, all face up cards in the source pile must be moved. The bottom most face up card determines where the stack may be moved.
Playing to the Finish Piles (Piles eight through eleven):
1) Aces may be moved to any empty finish pile.
2) Any other card can be played only on a card of the next lowest value and of the same suit (e.g. a 10 of Hearts may only be played on a 9 of Hearts.)
3) When moving cards from one of the play piles to one of the finish piles, only the top-most card in the play pile will be moved.
Pile 12:
Clicking on pile 12 puts the next 3 cards from pile 12, or the remainder of pile 12, whichever is less, face up in pile 13. Clicking on pile 12 while it is empty moves the cards from pile 13 back to pile 12, all face down. Clicking again will move cards from pile 12 into pile 13 in the method stated above.
Special Features:
Command - Z: Undo last move.
Shift - Click: Show number of cards in pile.
Menu Option- Finish: If all cards are face up, finish the game.
